Philanthropists
Are you passionate about education? Do you strive to help the next generation succeed? If so, ECI is for you!
There are numerous studies that show that early childhood intervention programs are the best return on investment, up to $17 per $1 spent according to a 2005 study sponsored by the RAND Corporation.
The Early Childhood Initiative at AMHA is funded almost entirely by local, private funders. While many programs of the housing authority are funded through the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, ECI receives $0 from the federal agency. Only a small portion, roughly 10%, is funded through a state government grant by the Ohio Children's Trust Fund.
Through AMHA's non-profit 501(c)(3), Building for Tomorrow, you can make a tax-deductible contribution to the Early Childhood Initiative.
